7. Plaza Palooza at Olympic Plaza

Where: Olympic Plaza

While skating at Olympic Plaza is a holiday tradition for many families this year skating has been cancelled due to the decommissioning of the ice plant this past spring in preparation for the plaza’s early January 2025 closure for the Arts Commons Transformation Project.

So this year the city is hosting Plaza Palooza where live entertainment will be on stage every night - local community groups and artists on Fridays and Sundays, and Battle of the Buskers on Saturdays. Entertainment includes:

• DJs spinning tunes for the Plaza Palooza dance floor

• Live ice sculpture carving demonstrations

• Roving performers – stilt walkers, living statues, fire breathers and more
